La Louve: Garden Photos

The garden has several different gardens, planted in a series of terraces that blend in with the surrounding landscape.

The garden's shrubs include boxwood, Feijoa sellowiana, Bupleurum fruticosum, juniper, rosemary, lavender, Santolina, and Teucrium, carefully trimmed into beautfiul geometric shapes. Rumor has it that de Vesian used to tend to the topiaries with nail scissors!

The trees were sculpted by artist and "tree-shaper" Marc Nucera.

Perennials include rosemary, lavender, Ballota, Sarcococca, and Santolina.

The rarely seen pool is part of this amazing property.

The fruit trees on the property include fig, cherry, apricot, and olive trees.

De Vésian liked subtle, natural colors, and liked the texture of stone as a focal point in her gardens.

The annual flowers include Cistus (rock roses), roses, peonies, irises, and peace lilies.
