Experience show gardens, a gala and educational seminarsThe 2017 San Francisco Flower & Garden Show is celebrating the magical world of gardening with more than a dozen innovative displays sure to amaze and inspire both new and experienced gardeners. At the 5-day event, being held from April 5 to 9 at the San Mateo Event Center, you’ll discover the tricks of creating magic in your own garden by visiting gorgeous designer showcases with artfully arranged plants, trees, and flowers. You can also attend free how-to seminars and hands-on workshops on topics such as growing your own food, backyard beekeeping, and drought-resistant landscaping. Finish your visit by browsing through a wide variety of specialty shops offering unique plants, tools, and garden-related accessories.
For those who want to experience the show in a unique way, you can attend Fridy night’s gala. The Enchanted Garden Party will be a "magical" evening at the San Mateo Event Center, April 7, 2017, from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. You’ll stroll the through the beautiful Show Gardens, enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine and craft beer while being entertained by Earth Circus’ aerial trapezes artist, acrobats, jugglers and so much more. It truly will be a magical evening to remember. All this plus with the purchase of a $75 Gala ticket you will receive a FREE Show ticket.
EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS
Top flower and gardening experts from across the country are set to take the stage for educational seminars at the 2017 San Francisco Flower & Garden Show. More than 70 free seminars will cover everything from wildlife gardening to succulent landscapes with the top experts in the industry.

From beginner to expert gardeners, there is something for everyone at the Discovery Stage. This stage will host a variety of seminars from the best in the industry. Hot topics include: succulents, easy care gardens, plants for small spaces and more.
Urban gardeners are encouraged to check out the Urban Homestead featuring an exciting mix of topics—bee-keeping, edible gardening, seed saving, urban chicken keeping and beer brewing.
